Energy Efficiency Improvement and Emissions Reduction Project at BilbaIna de Alquitranes
As part of our commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability, we have implemented an improvement in the Sugimat thermal oil boiler and the continuous distillation furnace.
This optimization has been carried out through the installation of an air preheater and the integration of a new burner with combustion optimization.
The Project has been executed with the support of the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), achieving an annual reduction of 578 tons of CO₂ equivalent and a significant energy saving. Specifically, we have achieved an approximate reduction of 16% in natural gas consumption in the boiler and 9% in the furnace.
