DESCRIPTION
Naphthalene C10H8 is a white solid at room temperature and occurs naturally in fossil fuels such as coal. In coal tar it makes up approximately 10% by weight.
There are different grades of naphthalene depending on the level of purity or the naphthalene content. The different grades of naphthalene sold by Bilbaína de Alquitranes, S.A. are

APLICATIONS
Naphthalene is a chemical intermediate in the manufacture of the following compounds:

- Cement additives (superplasticizers) - Alkyd resins - Plasticizers - Dyes - Detergents, wetting agents - Naphthas |
- Tanning agents - Cement - Solvents - Non-flammable waxes (Halowax) - Moth balls |

DISTRIBUTION FORMAT
Solid: flakes in 25 kg bags.
This product can be transported by heavy duty trucks in containers or ISO containers.
Liquid: Thermally insulated tankers.
