DESCRIPTION

Creosote is a product that is derived from the distillation of coal tar that comes from burning coal. This distillation process occurs at 180ºC and 400ºC.

Creosote is mainly used for its biocidal properties against the agents that cause wood to deteriorate. (Preservative for wood)

At Bilbaína de Alquitranes we manufacture creosote at the primary market standards.

We hold the CTB P+ certification (certified by “FCBA Institut Technologique – Produits Préservation Bois”).

It is a product that is primarily used in the preservation of wood due to its fungicidal and antibacterial properties.
